Foreclosure Process in Stavvy
1. Initial Order Creation
- From the left-hand panel, select Order
- Select the + Create New button on the top left-hand corner
- Under Servicing, check Non-Customer Facing
- Select the Servicer or invite a new servicer to connect
- When creating new Orders, enter the following:
- Loan number
- First Legal Deadline
- Urgency
- Property Address
- Additional Instructions
- Next, upload Foreclosure Documents to be reviewed by the Servicer/Lender
- Drag or upload documents from your computer
- Check Notary needed if the documents will be notarized
- Add description and option to update SLA timeframe to 2-5 business days
- Once reviewed, click Create Order
- Lender/Servicer receives an email notification that the file is ready for review
Best Practices: Within a Foreclosure File, "Favorite" any orders/files you are working with by clicking on the star next to the address. You can access this later by clicking on the "My Favorites" tab within Files.
2. Servicer/Lender Review
- Servicer/Lender will conduct an initial document review
- If no revisions are needed, they will Approve the Documents
- The Status of the Document(s) will read "Ready"
- If revisions are needed, they will Add Comments to the Documents
- The status of the Document(s) will read Revisions Requested
3. Revising Documents
If revisions are requested by the Servicer/Lender, from the left-hand panel, click on Files
- Search by the Loan Number or Address
- Click on the Documents tab
- Click "View" on the documents that have revisions requested and review the comments
- Note: Revisions cannot be made to the original document
- Make changes to Documents on your computer and upload the revised Document using the same name as the original Document
-
-
- Unless the servicer sends another request for revisions, this process is done. The Servicer/Lender will receive notification that new Documents are ready for review and will either accept or send back with more comments
