Question
The signers have not completed the eSign packet prior to our in-person signing. How should we proceed?
Answer
No need to worry! The signers can quickly complete the eSign packet (annotations) right now using their own mobile device (phone or tablet).
Steps for Signers to Complete the eSign Packet:
- Resend the Invitation (if needed): If the Signer cannot locate the original email invitation, you can resend the eSign invite from the platform.
- Access the Packet: The Signer should open the email and click the link to access the packet.
- Complete Annotations: The Signer can quickly complete their required annotations on their phone.
Downloading/Printing Documents
If the Signer is unable to finish signing the eSign packet via their phone and the closing must proceed, you can download and print the documents. This is only possible if the packet is either 'Ready to Sign' or 'Signing in Progress'.
Steps to Download the Packet Documents:
- Go to the Order's eSign Packets tab.
- Click into the eSign packet you need.
- Click the top checkbox to select all documents within the packet.
- Click the Download button.
- The packet documents will download as a Zip folder to your computer.
