If your state requires you to notarize an Exemplar Document, follow this Guide

Some states require you notarize an exemplar document and send back to them. If your state requires this, you will see an Exemplar Document tab within your Notary Profile Settings.

• If you are provided a document by the state, review steps 1-3 and click Start 
• If your state does not require the use of their specific document, you can download and use ours by selecting "click here" in step 1.a. (see image below)

• After downloading, complete the following Steps:

Step 1: Upload the Exemplar document.

Step 2: Drag your signature and your seal onto the document, then click, Mark Ready for Signing, and click Next. 

Step 3: Click on each annotation to apply the Signature and Seal. 

Step 4: Click, Submit. Your Exemplar Document has now been successfully uploaded, and can be downloaded for you to print off and submit to the State. Note the option to Re-upload if this document ever needs replacing

• Now that this step has been completed, our Stavvy team will review and approve your Notary Profile. This can take between 1-2 business days.  If you need this approval expedited due to an upcoming Meeting, please reach out to support@stavvy.com.
