RON Meeting Checklist

Technology Requirements

To ensure the success of your Remote Online Notarization, please gather the following in advance of the meeting:

1. A Computer, Laptop, or Tablet with:
   • access to your email inbox
   • a video camera
   • a microphone
2. Log out of your VPN
3. Non-expired, government-issued ID (passport, ID card, or driver’s license)
4. The latest version of your Internet browser (Chrome preferred)
5. Mobile phone with a camera
6. Quiet space with a reliable internet connection
7. Social Security Number. Note: ITN will not work

International Signers

U.S. Credit History is required for all signers in a RON Stavvy Meeting

During the ID Verification process, you will be asked to provide a phone number and will receive a text message with a link to upload your ID. Here, you can give a TextNow or Google Voice number if you don't have a U.S. phone number. The ID Verification process will not work with international phone numbers. 

During the ID Verification process, you will be asked to provide an address. Please provide your last known address in the United States.
