Follow the instructions below to create a Signing Meeting.
To create a RON meeting follow this article. To create an IPEN Meeting follow this article.
RON is for real estate related remote online notarization signings, Signing Meetings are for non-real estate-related RON signings and IPEN Meetings are for in-person electronic notarization.
- Click + Create Meeting on the Meeting Page, or + Create New at the top left of any screen in Stavvy
- Choose Signing Meeting
Enter the meeting information
- Meeting Name
- Meeting Date
- Meeting Time

Meeting Length
- Meeting Length does not limit the meeting to the time selected, it places a time block on the Participant's calendars

Select Notary
- Stavvy Approved Notaries have a green stamp next to their name
- Notaries without a green stamp need to complete their Notary Profile and be approved by Stavvy Support

Add Attendees (Signers or Observers)
- Add additional Signers or an Observer at the bottom.
- An Observer is someone who does not need to sign but wants to be a part of the Meeting. See more here.
- Add additional Signers or an Observer at the bottom.
- *Optional- add a meeting note that will show in the body of the email invitation
Once created, all participants (Notary, signers, observers) will receive an email invitation to add the meeting to their calendar. This invitation will include a button to join at the date/time of the meeting.
Upload the meeting documents(Optional)
- Upload meeting documents
- Annotate the documents
Note: Documents can be uploaded to the meeting at any time from the Meeting Details page:
1. From the Meeting Details page click + Add document
2. Click the ellipses (three dots) to the right, and select Annotate
