Please review the information below to troubleshoot potential error messages encountered during the upload of the IdenTrust certificate.
Important: IdenTrust is a 3rd party provider, and Stavvy doesn't have access to your account information.
Incorrect Password
If you see this error message, "Incorrect password for this certificate", the certificate password entered was incorrect.
Please double-check that you entered the password that was created when you exported the certificate, not your IdenTrust account password.
Important: Stavvy cannot assist with password issues for your certificate. You'll need to contact Identrust for help if the password isn't working.
Incorrect File Format
If you see this error message, "This certificate is not scoped for Digital Signature", you are trying to upload the wrong file type. The file extension should be .p12 or .pfx.
Please return to IdenTrust and download the correct certificate. Instructions for downloading the certificate are available here for Windows or Mac.
Incorrect Security Level
If you see this error message, "Something went wrong uploading the certificate. Please try again.", you set the security level to High instead of Medium.
