What if an Observer Does Not Join My Meeting?

The Observer has no bearing on whether or not a closing takes place. The signing meeting can still continue without observers who had planned to join.

Stavvy Meetings can have various types of attendees:

• • The Notary/Host is the Stavvy User who will lead the Meeting
  • Signers are the clients who will verify their identity via KBA/ID Upload
  • Observers are able to attend the meeting, but will not sign documents or verify their identity
    • Examples of Observers: Translator, realtor, relative, borrower’s attorney
