What do I do if my signature is too long?

Review this article if your signature exceeds the character limit and/or extends beyond the parameters of the page. 

In situations where the name is long, or there is a title following the name- Guardian, Power of Attorney etc. the signature may exceed the 45-character limit and be too long to correctly fit on the page.

If you run into a signature length issue take note of the following options:

• Make sure the signature is 45 characters or less. (Spaces are included in the 45-character limit)
• If your signature exceeds the 45 character limit, consider using one of the options below if your state allows:
  • Use the Draw option to draw the signature
  • Upload a hand-drawn signature

If your signature runs off of the page:

• Go to the Meeting Details page and select the View and annotate option for the document.

• The Signature annotation can be resized 
  • Hover over the annotation and drag it to resize the height and width

• If resizing does not resolve the issue:
  • Delete the signature
  • Re-add the annotation for the signature and move the annotation to the left to ensure the signature will fit on the page
