Follow this Guide to create Annotation Templates to save time on your next Meeting or eSign!
Templates are a great time saver for any Document sets that have the same general annotation placements for each use (ex: A Closing Disclosure that always has a spot for signature and date on page 5)
Setup
- Click on Templates on the left panel
- Click Create Template (upper right)
- Upload the Document and click Next
- Choose from Computer (upload from your computer)
- Import Stavvy Document (upload from an existing Stavvy Document)
Template Roles
- The Notary assignee role is there as an option by default
- To create additional roles select the + Add template role button
- Give each Signer a role name (Signer 1, Signer A, etc)
- Add as many Signers as this document set requires
Applying Annotations
- Select the appropriate Signer from the Assignee dropdown
- Drag and drop the Signer's annotations throughout the Document
- Repeat with additional Signers
- Drag and drop the Signer's annotations throughout the Document
- Repeat with Notary annotations
Saving Template
- When finished, click Save Template on the top right
- Give the Template a name
- Click Save
Using the Template
- For meeting preparation, Add a Document
- Click Annotate
- On the top right corner, select the Template icon
- Choose the appropriate Template, and click Next
- Assign a signer to each role
- Click Apply
- The annotations automatically apply based on the Template Settings
Annotations can be adjusted as needed:
