What happens if I cancel an Order or its eSign packet?

Canceling an Order

• To cancel an Order, click the actions button (three dots) on the Order and select the Cancel option 
• Canceled Orders have a Rejected Status 
• Canceled orders can be reopened 

Note: Though canceling the Order does not cancel the documents, once the Order is canceled, the title company loses access to the Order documents (ie cannot download wet sign docs)

Canceling eSign Packet 

• To cancel an eSign packet on an order, click the actions button (three dots) on the packet and select the Cancel option 
• An eSign packet can be canceled at any time up until it is finalized
  • Finalized eSign packets will show a Completed status 
• If the eSign packet status is Signing in Progress, it can still be canceled as it is not a finalized packet until everyone is finished signing 
• When canceling documents and/or eSign packets, it is important to know that once a document has been Finalized it will not be canceled. Therefore, if an eSign packet has any Finalized documents in it, the eSign packet can still be canceled but the Finalized documents will remain in a Finalized state.
