Product Enhancements
Check this section for minor feature updates and improvements we’ve made to Stavvy!
Small Screen Size Warning
What changed?: We’ve added a warning to the annotation editor for smaller screens (768 pixels). Users are informed that smaller screens are not supported and are prompted to switch to a larger screen to annotate documents.
Impacted Users: Notaries/Document Preparers
Area of the Product: Annotation Editing Experience
Template Annotations for Notary & Signer
What changed?: When a template has both notary and signer annotations, the notary annotations are now being applied to the document. Previously the notary annotations were not being applied with the template.
Impacted Users: Notaries
Area of the Product: Annotation Editing Experience
Improved View and Editing Document Actions
What changed?: We adjusted the menu options for packet and meeting documents to make it more obvious when users can only View the documents or can View + Edit the annotations. When a document is in a state that will not support the user editing annotations (such as read-only documents or wet-sign documents) users will see a View option to view the document and all annotation editing is disabled. When users can edit the annotations they will see a View/Edit option instead.
Impacted Users: Title and Settlement Agents
Area of the Product: Meeting & Packet Documents

Bug Fixes
Whoops - our bad! Here’s the latest list of bugs we’ve squashed.
Meeting Times & Safari Web Browsers
What was fixed?: We fixed an issue with Safari web browsers that was preventing the user from selecting from a list of available meeting times. Now, Safari browser users will see a dropdown list of time increments to select from. This issue did not impact non-Safari web browsers.
Impacted Users: Meeting Creators
Area of the Product: Meetings
Updated IPEN Meeting Error Message for Invalid Attendee Phone Numbers
What was fixed?: When creating an IPEN meeting, if an attendee's phone number is not in a valid format, we will now display a better error message informing the user the meeting failed to create because the participant's phone number is invalid. Previously we provided a generic error message that made it difficult for end users to fix the problem themselves.
Impacted Users: Meeting Creators
Area of the Product: IPEN Meetings
Current:
Message: Error creating meeting. Please contact Stavvy Support
Updated:
Message: Phone number validation failed
Fixed Issue Creating Meetings with Invalid Participant Email Address
What was fixed?: Users will no longer be able to create meetings when participants have an invalid email address. Valid email addresses will be required for all participants to create the meeting.
Impacted Users: Meeting Creators
Area of the Product: RON/IPEN Meetings
Last Document in the Document Selector for eSign Getting Cut Off
What was fixed?: In the annotation editor, the last document in an eSign packet is cut off from the document selector due to the review packet/save and exit bar at the bottom of the screen. This prevents the user from easily seeing the last document on an eSign packet.
Impacted Users: Notaries/Document Preparers
Area of the Product: Annotation Editing Experience
