Unlock Certified Meeting Document for Additional Signing
What changed?: We’ve added a new way to unlock certified documents after signing. Once a document is unlocked additional annotations need to be added and signed in a new meeting in order to generate an updated certified document. This is a good option if a notary forgets to add an annotation and needs to add one.
Steps to unlock a certified meeting document:
-
Navigate to the Documents tab on the meeting page.
-
Click on the three dot menu.
-
Click on View.
-
In the Document Viewer, Click on Unlock for editing on the top right of the page.
-
A modal will open. Click on the Reopen and unlock button.
-
You will be redirected to annotate you document so you can make changes to annotations.

🐛Bug Fixes
Whoops - our bad! Here’s the latest list of bugs we’ve squashed.
Dragging and dropping annotations always places them on the first page
What was fixed?: We fixed a bug that resulted in any annotation being added to a multi-page document to be added to the first page of the document. Annotations will now be added to the document page a user drags it onto.
Impacted Users: Document Preparers, Notaries
Area of the Product: Annotations
Updated Meeting Recording Copy
What was fixed?: We fixed an issue where incorrect information was displaying on the meetings page before a recording was ready to download. Sometimes it takes Stavvy some time to compile the meeting recording before it can be downloaded. If a meeting has ended and you are not able to request the recording yet then the meeting details page will read “Processing meeting recording. Check back in a few minutes to request the recording for download.”
Impacted Users: Notaries, Meeting Creators
Area of the Product: Meeting recordings
Annotation to Page Association Validation Added
What was fixed?: We’ve implemented validation to ensure that when an annotation is created or updated, it is linked to an existing page. This step helps prevent errors later in the process.
Impacted Users: Document Preparers
Area of the Product: Annotation Editor / Annotations
Cancelled Documents Removed from “All Documents” Meeting List
What was fixed?: We made changes to ensure that cancelled documents no longer appear in the "All Documents" list at the end of a RON or IPEN meeting.
Impacted Users: Notaries, Meeting Participants
Area of the Product: Meetings

Fixed Finalization Errors in PDFs with JPG2000 Images
What was fixed?: We resolved an issue that caused finalization errors when a PDF included a JPG2000 image. Documents with JPG2000 images can now be finalized without any problems.
Impacted Users: Notaries, Signers
Area of the Product: Finalized Documents
Document Status Update When Applying Template in Annotation Editor
What was fixed?: When a template is applied to a document in the annotation editor, the document status will now update from "Uploaded" to "Annotating" to more accurately reflect its current state.
Impacted Users: Document Preparers
Area of the Product: Annotation Editor

Foreclosure File Creators Can Now View Documents Before Vendor Acceptance
What was fixed?: We’ve made a change that allows the Foreclosure file creator to view documents in the file, even if the file hasn’t been accepted by the assigned vendor yet. Previously, an error message was displayed, requiring the file to be accepted before documents could be viewed by the file creator.
