Optional Text Field Annotation
What changed?: Text field annotations can now be marked as optional. To add an optional text field, drag and drop the text field annotation onto your document, then deselect the required checkbox. By default, all text field annotations are required.
Area of the Product: Meetings, eSign
Impacted Users: Notaries, eSign Packet Creators
Retry Exemplar Document Upload
What changed?: We've added a re-upload button to the exemplar document section of the Notary Profile. If an exemplar document is stuck in a finalizing state or needs to be replaced, users can use this to try uploading their exemplar document again.
Area of the Product: Notary Profile
Impacted Users: Notaries
Toggle Drag and Drop Annotations On/Off
What changed?: As a notary or meeting host, if you want to move annotations around on a document in the meeting, you'll need to enable the Drag and drop annotations button in left meeting panel. This will help tablet users better execute annotations and prevent annotations from being executed too soon.
To go back to signing mode, simply click the button again to turn drag and drop off.
Area of the Product: Meetings
Impacted Users: Notaries
Meeting Counts Return
What changed?: Meeting counts are back! Navigate to the meetings page to easily see the number of upcoming, completed, and canceled meetings you have.
Area of the Product: Meetings
Impacted Users: Notaries, Meeting Hosts
Leave / End Meeting Button
What changed?: The leave/end meeting button has moved to the end of the meeting toolbar. This button was previously represented by a phone icon and displayed in the middle of the toolbar. Hosts will have the option to end the meeting, while signers will see the option to leave.
Area of the Product: Meetings
Impacted Users: Notaries, Meeting Hosts, Signers
Meeting Screenshots
What changed?: We've updated the meeting screenshot tool to make it more clear that you need to select which participant's screen you want to capture. Screenshots will automatically save as documents associated with a meeting.
Area of the Product: Meetings
Impacted Users: Notaries, Meeting Hosts
Action Menu for Files and Orders
What changed?: There's now a menu listed at the top of files that allows for easy access to all available actions. This includes creating meetings, eSign packets, eNotes, and Orders. Some actions may not appear if they have already been taken. Archiving has been moved to another menu, listed under "More Actions".
Area of the Product: Files, Orders
Impacted Users: File creators, Vendors
Adding Borrowers to Files
What changed?: We've updated the Parties section of file creation to make it easier to see which fields are required when adding a borrower or seller. In addition, we've removed the ability to add an entity as a party and prevented the SSN field from hiding contents until it's been filled in.
Area of the Product: Files
Impacted Users: File creators
Acknowledgement Confirmation Modal
What changed?: There is now an additional confirmation required for documents approved without further acknowledgment needed in the quality control acknowledgement flow. If a user chooses to approve a document without sending it for acknowledgment signing then we will prompt the user to confirm this selection with an additional modal.
